Ian Mackie, CET
Management Consultant

Ian has held senior management positions in Canada, UK and Europe. His extensive international experience in product development, design and manufacturing in the high tech. industry with telecommunications, information technology and aerospace provides a wide range of expertise for his current role as a consultant. Ian has successfully managed registered quality systems, developed methodologies resulting in improvements to time to market, design performance, and enhanced business processes (won Ottawa Valley Quality Award). He has designed a number of ISO, and quality management courses and has been a member of Quality standards working groups.

 In the last 5 years Ian has provided consulting and training services to various industries including electronics, mining, information management, technical college staff, Federal and Provincial Government (e.g. Health & MOT) organisations. Standards involved include TL 9000, various ISO standards (e.g. 9001, 14001, 17025, 13485, 19011, 18001, 15048 etc.) and related standards such as SEI CMM, Business Excellence. Ian is a Certified QMS Lead Auditor, registered with International Register of Certified Auditors (IRCA), is a Senior Member with the ASQ and is also certified with OACETT.
